My yoga journey
I came to Power Yoga, like many, as a therapy for a knee injury and was immediately struck by its transformative qualities both on and off the mat. Drawn to its physical benefits, I soon found the remarkable transformation it could have on my over-active-ping-pong ball of a mind.
I have over 10 years of experience, since training under world-renowned yogi Stewart Gilchrist in London and now Head of Yoga at one of London’s finest boutique fitness studios, Core Collective.
I am exceptionally passionate about the way the body moves and focus on the importance of an effortless practise allowing the body to flow mindlessly with the breath. My classes are inspired by power, flow and fluidity; combining fluid movement with static-driven holds and playful inversions. I teach my clients to learn to move their bodies in fun and different ways, remembering that there is no such thing as perfect, it’s all part of the journey.
My teaching is uplifting, energetic and dynamic ensuring you feel inspired, energised and motivated on your journey to a healthier happier self. My practice will help to heal, cleanse, calm and detoxify the mind whilst challenging the entire body, increasing flexibility and strength, ensuring I leave you in a state of ultimate relaxation with one big beaming smile across your face.
I believe that the key to feeling healthy, happy and strong is consistency.
